Poor showing at today’s 12th annual BBQ Fest at Wachusett Mountain. Waited over 20 minutes for my order because they got overwhelmed, served orders that were coming in after mine first. Talked to one of the kids working and they fixed it quickly, which I greatly appreciated of course. The food was truthfully underwhelming. The “Loaded Lobster” quesadilla lived up to its name in the worst way, it was 80% cheese, barely any meat. No excuse for that when you’re charging $22 a pop. The carnitas & chicken tacos were decent, although I felt that the meat was on the dry side and could’ve used more flavor. The high note was undoubtedly the pulled pork taco - excellent flavor and consistency. I wish I ordered 3 of those and left the rest of my order to the birds. Would recommend giving this truck a shot though, the lows can be fixed easily if they put some minor effort into it and the high point was absolutely worth every penny. Hoping any future experiences will be better!
