People inside the food truck are extremely rude. The food is not properly prepared good. The portion is very small. The meat is still raw, plus they overcharge me for a chicken over rice. Would not recommend.

The food was ok (though the portion is towards the smaller end). The big issue is the guy who is cooking and selling this - straight dishonest as fuuk. There are typically a young one and the elder man. The young one speaks little English and when I asked if I could use Venmo, he didn't understand and had to ask the old man over to clarify. I ended up ordering combo over rice and he said $9. When the food is ready, he pulled the payment reader over, and I lowered my head to scan my face and verify ApplePay, he quickly pushed the 33% tips button on the machine when I waved my phone over the machine and was ended up charged $12 for that. Man, I am fine paying tips given this difficult period but this just left a bad taste knowing how dishonest this man is.

Ordered this on Uber eats without checking the reviews first. The chicken doesn’t taste like it was marinated in anything authentic and almost tasted smoked or like BBQ chicken for some reason..definitely not like the halal carts in NYC. The salad came drenched in green olives. The chicken portion was minimal and the dish was mostly rice and the gross olive covered salad. Would not order again. Very disappointed for the price as well.

$9 for combo over rice. They don’t list prices on the truck for some reason. The yellow rice is great and has a bit more texture than the rice from the truck across the street. The white sauce is also good—not too heavy, not too light. The rest of the platter is satisfactory, but doesn’t stand out to me.

My go to place for chicken/lamb over rice in Jersey City. White sauce here is better than halal guys. Meat is cooked fresh and you can taste it in the food. Rice is well cooked and flaky. Even the salad greens are fresh. Highly recommended!
