I ordered two combo hibachi plates and my food was burnt and the meat was chewy. Left a horrible burnt after taste in my mouth, and I spent over $50. On top of that, I waited over an hour because they ran out of rice. Don't waste your time coming here!

Literally spent $25 for a plate that had 4 pieces of steak and 8 pieces of chicken. And a tiny corner of greens. The rice was even in the area where the meat shouldve been. I feel like I wasted money for a kid’s meal because why did I spend so much when I asked the portion size and all to pay for nothing. It tastes good but not worth the price.

Let me start off by saying the guy taking the orders was pleasant. So I attempted to try this food truck for the very first time and requested and paid for the seafood combo that comes with shrimp and lobster and scallops and also requested chicken fried rice. Upon returning home I received two boxes of steak fried rice. I sent the order back to be replaced and received bagged boxes with a half eaten lobster tail from the original order I placed. I didn’t notice until I got back home because they had the bag retied upon returning.

I had high hopes for Rockstar Hibachi, but unfortunately, the experience didn't quite "rock." While there were some positives regarding the speed of service, the food itself left a lot to be desired. The Service The service was impressively quick. There were a few people ahead of and behind me, but my food was ready in about 10 minutes. If you’re in a massive rush, they definitely have the speed down. The Food I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken, and here is how it broke down: The Portion: To be fair, they gave plenty of chicken. However, the vegetable portion was a huge letdown. I could literally count the amount of vegetables: 2 pieces of broccoli, 2 pieces of zucchini, and 3 carrots and 1 mushroom. The "Hibachi" Experience: Usually, hibachi implies an overflow of onions, mushrooms, and mixed veggies. This felt very sparse. Quality: The chicken was unfortunately overcooked and quite dry. The Sauce: They were out of Yum Yum sauce, which is a staple for hibachi. Once I added the teriyaki sauce, the flavor was okay, but it didn't save the meal. Final Verdict Because of the overcooked meat and the lack of traditional hibachi veggies, I won’t be going out of my way to visit this truck again. There are better hibachi options in the area that offer a more complete meal.

Let me start with they have 100 sanitation score. Their food is always hot, fresh and tasty. I actually did not realize they didn’t open till later and came early before they were open. The guy working their had wonderful customer service and was so nice about me showing up before they were open. That is all you can ask for!
