I have had the pleasure of enjoying food from Chaicona Food Truck, operated by the talented Sophia, who is from Guyana, and her husband, from Trinidad & Tobago, for the past three years. Their cuisine is consistently excellent. The roti and dhal puri remind me of homemade dishes prepared by my late mother and grandmother. Additionally, their pumpkin stew brings back fond memories of my mother's cooking. The quality and flavor of their food are always exceptional and authentic. I highly recommend trying their offerings—you won't be disappointed. Please mention to Sophia that I referred you. Thank you.

Trini/guyanese food done right—even delivered! I had my food delivered and everything was amazing. The roti was soft and full of flavor—easily the best I’ve had in Charlotte. The curry chicken was delicious, and the rice was the bomb! You can really taste the love in every bite. This is the closest I’ve had to real Trini food in CLT. Great service, great flavor—and yes, they cater and deliver too. Highly recommend!

Food was delicious! Curry chicken has slight kick to it and very flavorful. Good combo with their rice. Added chicken patty as well which was very good. Def going back and trying the jerk chicken and shrimp

The wonderful aroma drew me to this food truck before I could even see what was on the menu. The owner was so kind to put together a sample plate of curry chicken, chana, rice and vegetables for only $5! I also had the chicken patty. Every bite was so flavorful, so delicious. I will definitely return and highly recommend. The owner has great customer service!
