It's surprising to see that this place has little reviews. This is definitely a hidden gem in Charlotte My friend was house hunting and ran across this food truck. She told me how good it was so I had to track them down. Let me just say the cook was very nice and the young lady assisting was very informative. Of course I had to try to oxtails because let's be honest, that's what I came. Definitely top three in the city. There were so tender had good flavor and of course came right off the bone. I will definitely be back.

Okay so i put a 2 because the cake and the lemon nade was good. I ordered curry shrimp rice and peas! As a person with heavy Caribbean background i was extremely disappointed. The shrimp was over cooked as if precooked shrip was used. It was salty no other flavor! The curry was RAW!! it definitely gave me a stomach ache!!! Ima just say this! Your suppose to cook the curry first before using it! Especially with curry shrimp! You have to make the curry then put the shrimp in the curry!! With any curry you have to cook the curry powder first then finish! Adding a few shakes of curry during the cooking process isnt bad aslong as the inital curry is cooked or people will get stomach ache!! Curry shouldnt be yellow like it was and i still tried to eat it because I paid for it. You dont use curry like regular seasoning. Doesnt matter which island u come from its known to cook the curry first! Thats how the flavor is released. Much luck and good vibes to yall!!

Food truck out Here at Amazon & just tried the bourbon wings & was extremely DISGUSTED !! Wings were hard as a rock ! First time & the last ! 🤮🤮🤮 dumped in the plastic bag & to the trash can it went 🤮🤮🤮

I discovered this truck while visiting a friend’s home. I googled them and saw the reviews but thought they were closed when I was leaving. Thankfully I saw the door opened and pulled in, and they were still opened. The lady who greeted me had a big smile and was so kind! The portions are generous for the price. My oxtails and sides were amazing and seasoned perfectly! I even ate the cornbread and I rarely eat bread. It was moist and a tad sweet. The chocolate cake was phenomenal! I highly recommend and will for sure stop by when I’m on that side of town again!

The salmon 😩 the red beans and rice 😋 the cornbread 😌 the cabbage 🤤 Everything was on point. We’re driving back for the second time today. *edited to add* I’ve gone 3 times in two days.
