Tasted at Ebony and Ivory in Knoxville. Food was amazing ! Good prices and excellent food! I had the sweet chicken skewers and plantain chips. The chicken was perfect:crisp on the outside super tasty and juicy. Whenever you see this bus stop and get some!!

They cook very delicious, authentic food. Their alcapuria and pinchos are as good as any on Puerto Rico. I know because I've been all over the island several times and am married to a Puerto Rican. If you get the chance, try their pasteles. Unfortunately, the owner consistently lies about how long until the order is ready. Just today, I was told 20 to 25 minutes, but the food took an hour. There was hardly anyone else there. This has happened many times. One hour or more is typical in a Puerto Rican restaurant, but it's a very long time for a food truck.

Good evening, first of all, with respect, I am referring to you when you placed your order, I had taken orders by cell phone and the orders are not for one dish but several and as you said that you had gone to eat at our food truck and it was always the same, you are not obligated to wait, much less to buy from our food truck because that does not mean that we are a food truck, we do not have the same responsibility as a restaurant and YES we do have it because it is not 1 or 2 people placing your orders, it is several. and your order was several, not 1, therefore the skewer takes a long time because it is cooked at the moment... WOWzer. Had no idea what Puerto Rican food tasted like, and was lucky enough to cross paths with this robust red school bus/food truck outside of Mossyback Distillery in Jeff city tonight. Truly a gem. The order took longer than most food trucks… and it was obvious why. Amazing flavors cooked to perfection!! Huge portions too, well worth the price. I had the 5 meat sandwich with plantain chips, and hubs had the cubed steak and rice, with macaroni salad. Sooooooo tasty 😋 Eating on the outside patio (after entering the red door) and enjoying a fantastic Moscow mule made for a wonderful date night❣️

I wish they had more variety but I like all there food but maybe cuz I grew up eating this but you have to try yourself to have ur own opinion. There not always there so is best to find them on FB they post when there out....
