Wow! This place is amazing! I'm extremely picky about my Mexican food. As someone that grew up on authentic food from michoacan, it's very difficult for me to find decent Mexican food. This place exceeded my expectations by a long shot! The tortilla was fire, the salsas were fire, the meats/seafood was fire! The fish and shrimp tacos tasted like the ones I had in Ensenada growing up! The service was absolutely outstanding. Very friendly, and extremely attentive! This will absolutely be one of my go-to's!

We arrived to a parking lot with no expectations, but then a lovely man walked up to us with a smile and warm welcoming! He explained what all the food was and offered us a seat, and this was a spectacular way to greet a customer. After trying one carne asada taco, jamica beverage, and Aguachillies we decided to sit and dine-in for the full experience. The owner came out, and served us ( not the normal truck etiquette, BETTER). Piping hot food, a smile, and aromas that you can’t be beat! Even though you’re next to the busy street, the food and service make up for it! If you have a moment, you should absolutely come by and try the delicious menu!

Amazing food!! I bought birria tacos, al pastor and asada. They’re all delicious. Didn’t disappoint. Will definitely buy again.

Gotta get seafood. It’s in the name of the business. I had one shrimp taco and one fish taco. Both proteins were fried and breaded with an ample amount of slaw on top. Really good flavors. I preferred the shrimp since the texture was nice and bouncy, but the fish was good too. There is a small tented area with two four-top tables. Other than that, I guess you gotta take it to go. The staff was incredibly nice. Great service. I can’t wait to try the rest of their menu. A great addition to the neighborhood. In a sea of great taquerias and taco trucks in Richmond, you need to stand out and Mi Casita does just that. UPDATE: Went back for a shrimp burrito and it’s fantastic. The shrimp is sautéed in this flavorful sauce. It’s up there with La Bamba’s shrimp burrito for sure.
