This food truck is AMAZING!! The authentic Honduran food is absolutely delicious. Everything they make is great. They have a menu online and it helps if you can speak a little Spanish or have your translator app handy. Be sure to order early in the day if you have an exact item in mind as select items sell out daily due to high demand. Totally worth your time and money for this fantastic food! Would highly recommend!

First time here and I got lucky on the mondongo soup being in rotation. The coconut milk based broth was so flavorful and everything inside from the plantains and veggies to tripe was cooked perfectly. The flavors themselves were expertly balanced so that they are great on their own or equally great adding in the very fresh lime and/or small ramekin of hot sauce. I’m a big guy and it was quite filling as it came with a side of flavored rice and hot tortillas. I was so impressed with how good the mondongo was that I ordered a second one and as well as some other items on the menu to take home for later.

This is one of the best food trucks I've visited. Absolutely delicious and fresh Honduran food. There's a little covered area behind the dumpster to sit and eat. Maybe better to take it to go somewhere or bring it home. But we enjoyed our meal under the covered area. This is an amazing amount of food and very delicious for the price.

My experience with Catrachilandia Food Truck brought me back home. We care about the food, right? Let’s dive into it. I ordered 1 Carne Asada, and boy I was so thrilled to get this plate. The meal came with arroz, not soggy. It came with fried beans, wish I had more of that, it also had one slice of avocado, red onions, repollo, 1 fried sausage, 1 small piece of Queso fresco, the soft version, 3 strips of carne asada, and fried plantains slices. This was the bomb!!!! The lady who took my food was so friendly, super humble - she gave me Tia vibes. The order was placed at 6:45 pm and she told me it would be ready in 15-20 minutes, and when I got back to the truck at 7:05 pm, she told me the food had been ready ahead of time. I also ordered one baleada sencilla (beans, crema and melted cheese) The total for these 2 items, $24.00 For the amount of food, this cost was very priced. I love supporting our people who work hard, and by no means, do not let the facade of the truck deviate you, confuse you or think their food does not taste good, because it does. The carne asada was very well cooked, the tajadas were fresh and toasty. You could tell the dish had been put together with love and their staff treats you with care. The baleada was very soft, and even though I ate it the next morning for breakfast, the texture was consistent. The texture of the dough was not chewy, nor hard to chew. The spread of beans and cheese was good. Superb! If you are in the Raleigh area, go pay them a visit - the ladies there are working hard, and definitely how to deliver a True Authentic Honduran dish. Lastly, this is a food truck, but there seems to be a table next to the fas station where they are. I saw two to three cars pulled in the area also waiting for their order. Not difficult to park, but not much open parking spots. For the quality of food, not a thing to worry about. Next time, I will order the best of them all, a pollo con tajadas and leave another review. Catrachilandia Food Truck is my new spot!
