I’m new to petoskey from Texas/Calif. I’ve been to every secret place known to my south and after trying this food truck….. this was by far the best Mexican food I’ve ever had in my entire life, and I’m 100% Mexican. I don’t think my mom’s cooking could top what this cook does at Chavez kitchen. I can tell they wake up super early just to prepare the meat that melts inside like butter. THIS IS A MUST TRY

Omg best food in Petoskey. ❤️ love the people and services is amazing. Always helping the community when in need like the ice store they helped feed people and how even just an ordinary day if you need food they don't say now. They have such warm heart and care about not just the love they put in there food but there customers as well. I have had almost everything on the menu. I am not a ramen person. I hate it. But they have the best ramen. I have ever had in my entire life. All the way down to the street tacos,and the Bria pizza, it is all mind-blowing food. But above all of it, I can't wait for every other Friday when it's tamale day. Those are my most favorite, they do an amazing job. They are the best tamales I have ever had in my life. If anything, I sure do appreciate them. Sharing their authentic food at such a great price. It is also very affordable. Thank you so much for servicing us and staring your delicious foods with us..

Great Tacos, just wish they were double tortilla'd. The Al Pastor was juicy and flavourful, the salsas were on point and the papas were a nice and unexpected touch. Definitely worth checking out if your in the area!

Were so glad you enjoyed it, one thing that sets us apart is our tortillas are handmade everyday! Next time you swing by dont be afraid to ask, wed be more than happy to add additional tortillas to your plate! :)

Got 2 street tacos for the first time. Excited to try the corn on the cove but was to late before it was sold out. I got two chorizo street tacos. The onions on the side are so good. Came with 2 sauces both are super good. Also added a couple fried potatoes.
