I had the pleasure of stopping by the truck on Hollywood Blvd. I was just wandering, waiting for my jamaican food next door/truck. The Jerk truck had no bread pudding so I was in search of something to curb my sweet tooth. I began speaking with Robert, and he was wicked cool! He let me try one of the fried dough balls which took me back to days of being able to attend a fair/carnival. It melted in my mouth like an upscale version of an elephant ear. Even though it was really light, it was too decadent and warm for me to eat as leftovers after later, devouring my jamaican dish. It was something that needed to be endured fresh. I love smoothies/milkshakes so I decided to try a Smoothie, and they allowed me to mix the Strawberry and Banana flavors. After finishing our conversation I headed to the car. I split open my straw and went in for a taste. WHOA! I wasn't ready... the lightness of the smoothie was delectable. The cream to fruit ratio was perfectly balanced. It was reminiscent to a creamy but light Orange Julius smoothie. I look forward to my return. Definitely give them a try, if not for just the food/treats, but also the service. Much respect and love.
