It makes complete sense why this food truck is called Fat Rooster 🐓 Got me leaving this place feeling like Fog Horn Leg Horn. Had the fried chicken sandwich on special. Quite possibly, one of the best, if not theeeee best, fried chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. Damn thing was so big I could have used it as a weapon. Made my hands look small too. And what’s a man to do with small hands when faced with such a work of glutinous art you ask? Open mouth, insert chicken sando. That’s what. As I was stuffing this monstrous amber fried cock-a-doodle wonder down my gullet like a ravenous seaside pelican, their farm cat Gus came to check out all the commotion. Gus was a cool dude. He and I kicked it for a bit eating pub chips and telling stories from the days adventures. Wild kitty cat that Gus is. Real menace. Overall, solid spot right off the main drag coming out of Littleton. The owner is a hard working gal that’s sown some humble roots within the community. Farmer and teacher by day. Traveling Gypsy cook by night. All those ingredients have been combined into a wicked sweet food truck with a passion for flavor. In the words of Fog Horn (and in paraphrasing here), I left the farm looking about as thin “as a bowling ball”! Cheers! 🍻😂
