My wife and I have eaten at Taqueria Tomatitos Food Truck several times, and we both agree it’s one of the most authentic spots for Mexican cuisine in the Lansing area. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and high quality. They deserve even more praise after this past Valentine’s Day. After nearly two hours waiting at Red Lobster - Frandor due to overbooked reservations, we had to leave without ever receiving our food because we had a movie scheduled. Taqueria Tomatitos came through with fast, friendly service and had hot, delicious food in our hands within minutes. Thank you for consistently delivering great food and excellent service — and for salvaging our Valentine’s Day 2026. We’ll definitely be back!

The music was so loud I could not even hear the workers. This was my first time trying this place and it was so overwhelming. Definitely did not feel very inviting. I got my food and it was so bad! I got barely any beans and they were watery 🤢. The rice had peas, carrots, and corn in it never in my life have I had Mexican food like that. Maybe at a Chinese place. I wouldn't have even minded it if didn't taste so bad. I got tamales and they were dry and burnt with almost no meat. NOT WORTH THE $40 I SPENT FOR THIS TRASH!

We got a steak taco combo and a steak burrito for $29. The tacos had good flavor and the salsa was good but the tacos were small for the price. Rice and beans were below average so the combo is really not worth the price. Staff were fine, music is way too loud for me personally so I ate in my car. Overall not the best Mexican food in town but still decent.

They said this food truck is hidden gem. I kind of agree with that 🙂The price of the foods is cheap, the portion is okay, the taste is yummy! I enjoy sit and eat there. Worth it to try 👍

Got birria tacos, birria quesadilla (only half in picture), chicken burrito, and elote (also half eaten). $47. Great taste, like Mexican food in Arizona. Tortillas taste homemade. Everything very fresh and fast service (about 5 minutes from ordering in person to receiving food). Very nice employee, walked out of food truck to deliver food straight to our car.
