I would have skipped this place if I read the reviews. But, as it is, we couldn't get a table at Duke's and I really wanted some prime rib. The prime rib at Duke's is also over twice the price for what it's worth, so I was willing to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did. I'd prefer a little less done on my prime rib but I'm not going to complain. With the au jus type sauce that tasted like the nectar of the gods, anything would probably be amazing. The mac salad was better than several others I had on the island, and it had mayo which several others I got on the island did not. The vegetables did appear to be canned but my order was very flavorful; I'd probably choose a different side next time but it wasn't the worst thing ever. And I'm so happy with the prime rib I wish I could go back but we're on the mainland now. For those complaining about the cost here... everything is expensive on Maui. But, even back on the mainland, you'd be hard pressed to find prime rib for under $25. I paid more money for less food of smaller quantity several times while on the island. Maybe I went to the wrong food carts but I'd choose this place again for prime rib any day. I also got an order of chicken strips (4) and fries (a ton) for my son. There was too much food and he didn't finish it for what it's worth. I can't comment on the pork or chicken but I got dry chicken and over-salted pork elsewhere on the island as well. If you give this place a shot, I hope your experience is as good as mine.

Almost didn’t get food here because of the reviews but I’m so glad I did! The pork ribs were fantastic. Super tender and juicy. The sauce was sweet and tangy. I got the coleslaw and side salad with Greek dressing which were both super fresh and flavorful. The portion of ribs were great too with 6-7 pieces. For $23 it’s a great deal compared to everything else in the food truck park.

BBQ loaded fries (including a chipotle aioli sauce with small pineapple slices included) with pulled pork and beyond delicious!!! You cannot go wrong with this option at all. The BBQ ribs were tender and the sauce was tangy, yet sweet enough if you are thinking BBQ from regions on the mainland. The meat did fall off the bone so nicely. Sides were decent and filling, although do not expect something over the top either. Staff was courteous. Time for food to be ready outpaced other trucks, so definitely a plus without sacrificing a quality product. If you are in the area, very good BBQ option. Be prepared to pay higher prices though, which then again you should expect being on Maui and the surrounding area continuing to justify these tourist prices. Super easy access and great sitting places in a very open space environment nearest the major highway.

Was pretty excited to try. But it tasted a lot like Lloyd’s pre-cooked bbq pork. All sauce with small strings of meat… at 20 bucks a plate there is just too much good food nearby that has care put into it. None of my family finished their meals. Ribs didn’t seem fresh. But rather cooked this morning and kept on a warming rack…
