Had a late night stop here. Had the lamb skewers with fat. OMG! I’ve lived my entire life in the Middle East and never has tikkas so juicy and flavorful. I don’t usually like fat but this was something else - crispy edges and juicy center.

Honestly one of my favorite spots in Houston. The food is consistently delicious every single time, fresh, flavorful, and never disappoints. The grilled meats are top tier and you can tell everything is made with care. Also gotta give a shoutout to Sanad, great guy, always welcoming and takes care of people the right way. That kind of service makes a big difference. If you’re craving real Middle Eastern food, this place is a must.

The meat tastes good, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to add a little more meat to the dishes. We waited approximately 35 minutes for our food.

Al Hawi Grill (Food Truck) is a great spot with very authentic food. The owner, Akram, and the entire team are very welcoming and make you feel at home every time you visit. The food is fresh and delicious, with generous portions that are more than enough. Prices are very reasonable for the quality, service, and portion sizes, especially compared to other places in the area. If you’re in Houston and don’t try Al Hawi Grill, you’re definitely missing out. Highly recommended!

Wow!!! What a great wholesome Middle Eastern/Levantine style sandwich that my husband had. I had to take a bite from how mouthwatering it smelled and looked. So worth the drive to get here and the quality of the food is superb. He had the kabob sandwich which is very similar to the Lebanese kafta but without the parsley and other ingredients; just simple chuck beef and spices. The guys working in the truck are so kind and hardworking. So impressed with everything they offered in the menu and the quality of food, which is very rare in a food truck.
