Worth every mile from Maine to Wantagh! I originally found out about this truck when a friend sent me one of their videos from Instagram with one of their tots specials. Since my daughter is looking to go to college in Hempstead, our weekend college visit was the best excuse to get to Wantagh! We ordered chips and dope sauce of course, the Acapulco tots, Hippie chicken (spicy), and the pre rolled fried cake. EVERY single thing delivered on taste and experience! The dope sauce was KILLER, the creamy/spicy sauce on the sandwich was so fun, and the fried cake was moist and delicious-especially with the FRESH whipped cream. The REAL star of the show though, were the tots!!! Crispy perfection, and the balance of the ricotta, bacon jam and dope sauce was PERFECT!!! I could not stop eating them!! I already cant wait to go back on our next trip to Long Island.

Oh my goodness! I saw this place on my TikTok feed and thought the concept was very creative and the food looked very delicious. I walked over here from Wantagh station in 10° And got there egg grilled cheese as well as their Doobie pudding. HOLY JESUS!! It is so delicious, they are dope sauce is really good and you owe it to yourself to try the pudding because it’s downright addictive. Needless to say, I will be returning for more even in cold weather.

I recently visited The Rolling Joint Food Truck and had a pretty solid experience. If you're using Uber to get there, it might tell you that it's at the corner of Sunrise Highway and Oakland Ave, but it’s not directly on the corner. The food truck is actually located in the center of the Wantagh LIRR parking lot. If you're coming from Sunrise Highway, a helpful tip would be to enter Ferguson Plumbing in Google Maps – it’s directly across the street from where the truck is parked. As I get older, I’ve found I can’t eat just anything, but I was able to enjoy my meal here without issue. I went with the fried tortellini with chicken (no bacon), and the sauce was served on the side. The chicken was flavorful and cooked well, and the portion size was perfect — filling but not overwhelming. Honestly, the serving was just right for the price. One thing I’d note is that the container could’ve been a little bigger. It was a bit of a challenge trying to keep everything in the container without making a mess, especially when the food is this tasty. The order was ready pretty quickly, which was nice. Overall, I wasn’t head over heels for the place, but it was definitely good. I’d recommend checking it out if you’re in the area and craving something different!

Was dying to try this place after following them on Instagram and it was better than expected. The chicken sandwich had such an amazing flavor, the tots were great, and the fried chocolate cake was out of this world. Will definitely be back!!!

Absolutely love this place!! Best thing I ever ate is the fried tortellini. And the griddled cheese. And the dope sauce. I’ve tried quite a few things on the menu and everything is amazing. I ordered twice this week. Once a secret visit with my daughter then again the next night for the family. Everyone was so happy eating and tasting each other’s food lol my 14 year old took a bite of the cake, danced around the kitchen and said “this is life changing” Idk how you guys do it in that little magical truck but your food is some of the best I’ve ever had. Thank you so much. We will be back!!!
