Phenomenal German food in Texas from a Food Truck. We had the Schnitzel with Fries and Sauerkraut! Had Flashbacks to when we lived in Germany this that Good!

This place is a little food truck area with outdoor seating. The food was amazing, I ordered several different items on the menu just to basically try it all. It was well worth the drive. The owners are super sweet and very accommodating. It is a must stop and have some German Food place.

Took a trip to Galveston Beach to eat some delicious authentic German food for lunch. Around the corner (Um de ecke) is owned by two of the nicest people you can imagine. If you haven’t met Judith Smith & her sweet husband yet, you are missing out! The food was so good it took us back to Oma’s kitchen in Deutschland. We tried almost everything on the menu! Schnitzel with buttery spaetzel and sauerkraut & sausage. Currywurst with pommes frites. Yummy Schnuggets, the gurkensalat has the tastiest yogurt dill dressing. Then their hammered spaetzel with ham and cheese. The kids got Haribo gummy kabobs for dessert. Highly recommend a trip down to Galveston even if it’s just to get some “real” German food to go!

Really good food. My wife, daughter, and I tried it out last night. For the quality of food the line should be around the block. My favorite was the curry wurst. Packed full of Authentic German flavors with a nice side of fries. Great meal and filling. The potato ball things were awesome. Delicious with some beer cheese. The pretzel bites were awesome. I could of used a side of sea salt because I like mine covered in salt. None the less awesome. The spatzel was omg good. The owners came out and talked with us and our baby girl for 15 or 20 minutes. Super super nice people. Will be back time and time again.
