Stopped here because well...how could you pass up a truck that says HOT TAMALES!! Not disappointed however the size is on the smaller size about the same as the store bought ones from HEB but flavor was good, mine(spicy pork)not spicy at all. Maybe I've just cooked my tongue with hot food though. My wife liked hers (regular pork) price is a bit steep for the what you get, but what isn't these day?. I'll eat there again if in the area. Check em out!

Tamales were a little bit on the small side but they were pretty good. I got a dozen spicy pork and regular pork. Definitely need go back and try all the other flavors

Great tamales! Since the 70s.! The only thing that's been changed is the truck. It was perfect for the super bowl party. 🔥 Thanks "Hot Tamales"!

Best tamales in the area! It is mostly filling, not mostly masa. I rarely eat them because of the thick outside. NOT HERE! They are Incredible!!! It's a truck- been in business over 20 yrs. Amazing!!!

I understand why the prices have gone up in the recent years, but the quality has certainly gone down. I couldn’t believe the change in the size and quality of the tamales since I last came to Houston to visit 4 years ago. Very disappointed.
