Sevim's is most definitely up and running now. This restaurant is an absolute blessing. Hands down the best Turkish food I have found thus far to include my travels along the west coast. It's a wonder when something like this to turns up here in the midwest. The atmosphere is divine. The environment is well and proper, the music serves to enhance, and the staff are highly attentive. This is a top dinner date location, but take yourself on that date before you wait too long. I have been told that they will host live music Friday and Thursday around 6pm. Call to confirm, I would say, but go anyway. Have the Kazandibi desert if you like roasted marshmallows that have been touched by the divine.

We have been anxiously awaiting Sevim's sit-down restaurant after enjoying her food truck meals for years. The interior is decorated in a classy way, giving relaxed, comfortable seating. One first sees the large photographs and art, along with the beautiful lighting and large chandeliers. Each table has fresh flowers, cloth napkins, salt/pepper shakers, and nice silverware. There are multiple choices for seating - couples to larger groups, and a larger event room. The menu had many similar items to her food truck historic choices. We ordered a new item, Turkish Saç Kavurma. It is sautéed lamb with vegetable served with rice and her awesome Turkish Pide bread, along with Turkish hot tea. It has just opened at this location with a Soft Opening and then Grand Opening just a few days ago! The meal had excellent flavor, and we would easily order it again. This restaurant has a warm welcoming atmosphere, making a great new place to enjoy a Turkish meal!
