This past Sunday two friends and I had a meal at "mariscos malecon" and were highly impressed with the quality and taste of the food, along with the great customer service and friendliness of the owner Juan and his team. We had the cooked shrimp gobernadores, smoked marlin, and shrimp capeado (battered) tacos all of which were delicious. We then followed up with a seafood (shrimp-octopus-oyster) tomato based coctel, red/green shrimp aguachile, and raw oysters topped with cooked shrimp and octopus. All of this seafood was fresh and of very good quality, and the portions were extremely generous, considering the very reasonable price point. The owner, Juan, even gave us some complimentary items to try, which was very considerate of him. You can eat at the stand-up bar at the food truck, which we did, or use the sit-down space inside the adjoining building where you will find bathroom and hand washing areas. All in all, a great experience that we will visit upon again in the future.

Absolutely fabulous! Incredibly fresh, delicious, and watch out for the Chile de Arbol sauce, it made my eyes water but it was WORTH IT! Very happy to have discovered this gem.

I wanted to love this place, everything was mostly on point, but unfortunately my order of Tostada el Malecon had 3 raw shrimp at the bottom of the container. Otherwise, flavor was really good and I was happy with the portion size and customer service.

Great taco truck serving up fresh seafood tacos. - Rating: 3.7 overall (after 1 visit, 3 tacos) - Interior: This is a food truck, so no interior. Its parked in a flea market lot, and they offer seating and tables for guests with three variations of hot sauce. The table's weren't cleaned when I sat down, but thats common from my taco truck experiences. - Food: The tacos gobernador was good, well seasoned with a nice mix of seafood (shrimp and octopus I believe) and cheese. I used to order this regularly in San Diego and found it very comparable. The shrimp/fish fried taco wasn't great, and was pretty oily. I had a tough time finding the chunks I was hoping for. The topping was great and added a nice freshness to the dish. Come back? : I'd 100% come back and explore more of the menu. I love fish tacos, and the other pictures look amazing. The price point is good, and the staff was incredible friendly.
